Siddoway has arranged j for a shipment of infant catfish, which will be planted in Mill creek during 'the coming month. The catfish aro between a fingerling and fry in size, jit Is stated, and will be ready for fishermen fish-ermen by tho spring of 1921. Plans have also been discussed regarding thu stocking of the lower Weber river with catfish. The fish are prolific, it is stated, and with the planting of a number of this species in streams near Ogdpn, local lo-cal sportsmen will be given opportunity opportu-nity for spring fishing that will equal that of Utah lake, it is stated. W. H. Anderson, deputy fish and ; game commissioner for Webor coun-j ty, has been authorized, it is stated.' to trap several pair of beaver in Lost creek. The beaver will he placed above thy narrows in Ogden canyon. It is anticipated that under protection, tho beaver will build dams which will belter bel-ter fishing conditions in this pail of; tho stream. ' |
