Show Nevada's Governor I Trying to Settle Strike at Ely ELY, Nev., Aug. 12 Governor Emmet Em-met D. Boyle, since his arrival here Saturday night, has been in conference confer-ence with the committee representing j .the different crafts on strike, and al;-o I with the management of the Nevada (Consolidated. Thw governor will leave Ely today for Salt Iike to see R c-Gemmell, c-Gemmell, one of the directors of the company. ! O. W Karn. H. S. McCIusky, J- A. Sullivan and J. A. Phillips, who have been here for the past ten days and represent the different organizations , affected, also will leave for Salt Lake to meet Hywel Davieo, United States mediator, who wa expected to reacn Ely, but wired requesting an appointment appoint-ment in Salt Lake. . J All parties, when questioned, simpu confirm the statement made by tn j governor. Anthony Jurich, a local attorney at-torney of Ely, has taken up the ma ter of suspension of trains on the KC j vada Northern with the railway com- -mission, and received a wire from. F.
