Show TWENTY THOUSAND TO BE RAISED FGR THE WILD WEST Twenty thousand dollars is the sum which the general committee and the departmental committees of the Ogden Wild West Show and Liestock Show have decided to raise in order to make these events ihe greatest of their kind ever seen in Ogden. September 25. 26 and 27 are the dates for tbe Wild West show. January 8. 9 and 10 are the date3 of the Livestock show. For the first named event a name was sought and a prize otfered tor th best name submitted to the chairman of the general committee, Charles H. Barton. The winning name was suggested sug-gested by a lady who refused to aer. pt the prize of $10 offered and Is "Ogden'S Wild West Show and Harvest Festival." Festi-val." B. M. Fox. who is the chairman ot Ogden's Wild West Show and Harvest Festival for this year, named the following fol-lowing comuiiti ' H. M. Rowe. Fred Meissner. Charles Zeimer, Dan Ensign and Charles Eieen-berg. Eieen-berg. The chairman stated he is in touch with rough riders, cowboys, cowgirls, and buckaroos from all over tbe west, and he is certain that there will bo a large attendance from widely scattered districts of the west who will enter enthusiastically en-thusiastically into the competition for the attractive prizes being offered. oo |
