SALT LAKE CITY, Oct 3 Members Mem-bers of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, (Mormon) will gather at their semi-annual conference confer-ence here tomorrow. From Utah, Idaho, Wyoming. Arizona, Nevada and Montana will come hundreds of that church for the sessions which will last through October 6. . 0 Specfal railroad rates have been granted for the occasfon, and it is one of the few instances where special low round -trip rates have been granted grant-ed by the federal railroad administration. administra-tion. Until tho rates were granted it was feared that the conference activities activi-ties might have to be curtailed and the attendance limited only to tho state and ward officials, of the church. It was thought that President Joseph Jos-eph F. Smith would not deliver an opening address, due to ill health since tho spring conferenco last April. Tho' conferences bring about 20.000 people to Salt Lake twice each ycari and have become Important to tho lifoj jof the city.
