Show HEARST BEGINS SUIT ON STATE COUNCIL Application for temporary restraining restrain-ing order and a permanent Injunction preventing state council of defense and the several county councils from interfering in-terfering in any way with tho circulation circula-tion or sale of the Hearst publications in Nevada was made in tho federal courso in Carson, Nevada. The suit was filed by Francis C. Wilson, an attorney of Santa Fe, N M.. appearing for the Hearst people." Tho papers allege that the action taken by the state council recently in requesting all newsdealers and the general public to cease handling or buying Hearst publications was without with-out authority of law and has wrought an Irreparable loss to the publishing company. A -similar suit has been filed in New Mexico against state and county councils coun-cils of defense, tho councils in that state taking action similar to that taken In Nevada. |
