Show SEVEN TONS OF PAPER GIVEN TO THE RED CROSS SHOP TO BE SHIPPED TO THE PAPER MILLS Next week tho Red Cros shop is going to go Into the old paper business. busi-ness. Tho workers will call for any old papers that can- be used by tho paper mills again. Old reports, lot-tera lot-tera and circulars, "newspapers, magazines, maga-zines, cardboard boxes and anything which a paper mill can find use for will be received by tho Rod Cross and shipped to tho paper mills. Already the shop receive seven tons of old papers pa-pers from tho files of the Oregon Short Line commissary. When tho "old paper" drive starts, those of- the public desirous of helping In tho drive will bo given instructions I through the press as to how to tlo up the bundles of papers. As fast as the t papers are prepared and the Red Cross shop notified, the papers will bo sent for by the motor corps. Tho donations of goods for the Rod Cross shops are coming in rapidly from both merchants and public. Already Al-ready merchants have given children's hats and caps, coats, capes and various va-rious articles of wear. The committee will appreciate having a few more children's coats. Any other articles that can be used in tho shop will be cheerfully received. |
