Show oo ROAD WORK DEDUCED DURI PERIOD OF THE WAR Tho supplemental co-operative agreements In tho Logan Garden City, Ephrlam-Orangevillo and tho Heber-Fruitland Heber-Fruitland road projects, providing for tho postponement of tho Logan-Garden City road until after the war and for the commencement and prosecution prosecu-tion of tho other two roads, at the discretion dis-cretion of tho secretary of their interior, inter-ior, have been signed by the Utah state road commission. Tho agreement agree-ment has been forwarded to the forester for-ester at Washington for execution by the secretary. The Logan-Garden City proposed road is 48 miles long and an appropriation of 55,000 has been made by the federal government as Its share of tho construction price. The Ephriam-Orangevllle road is 39.2 miles long and 60,000 has been appropriated ap-propriated by the government for its construction. The Heber-Fruitland road project is 42 miles and the government gov-ernment has appropriated ?55,000 toward to-ward its building. Tho postponements were agreed upon becauso of tho scarcity of labor during war times. |
