Show PUS ARE HUE TO WELCOME LABOR DEllIES Mayor T. Samuel Browning will mako the address of welcome to the British .labor commissioners, William Moses and Charles Duncan, at the big mass meeting to be held in honor of the English visitors at the tabernacle, on the evening of March 11. William M. Piggott, prominent Ogden labor leader, will preside at tho meeting. That was the program decided upon at a special meeting held In the Trades & Labor assemly ball on Hudson avenue ave-nue last night. The meeting was attended at-tended by representatives from the various trades and labor locals affiliated affil-iated with tho federal bureau, Mayor Browning, Commissioners Chris Fly-gare Fly-gare and Miles L. Jones and former Mayor A. R. Heywood, chairman of the city exemption board. It is intended to give tho Britishers one of the most enthusiastic welcomes they will receive re-ceive during their tour of the United States. The following reception committee was appointed: A. A. of L. & D. rl. W. Beckett, Sr., Lawrence Wilson, William Jones, W. D. Batchelder and William M. Piggott O. T. & L. A. R. H. Wadman. H. J. Ware, W. R. Offerman, Miss Cyetta Swensen and Leland H. The British labor mission is visiting America to promote a more thorough understanding between the great labor organizations of the two nations and to become in more thorough accord with the Avar aims of Great Britain and America.
