Show NEW OGDEN MOTORS ARE BEING PLACED Cleveland Redficld, president of the Automatic Controller and Manufacturing Manufactur-ing company, has returned from a trip to Bingham and Garfield where he has been in the interests of the company. The Ogden company expects to install in the near future a number of their improved type of motor starters at the copper mines, mills and 3melters of Bingham, Magna, Arthur and Garfield. The company has ordered machinery for their new factory and expects soon to be turning out their products. In the winding department will be a very Interesting In-teresting labor-saving machine. It is an automatic armature winding machine ma-chine for winding small armatures of the various sizes up to two horse -pow- er. It will do in minutes the work formerly for-merly accomplished only by hours of touious labor. There will also be machinery for winding, stretching and taping "coils. The factory equipment will include, in addition to the regular metal -working machinery, a large power press for stamping out the "electrical steel" laminations la-minations and certain other parts for tho controllers. The concern will engage in motor and transformer winding and repairing, repair-ing, along with their regular line of manufaacture. This new industry adds another "stepping stone" to the establishment estab-lishment of Ogden as tho leading western manufacturing center. oo |
