Show H' " ' H THOSE WHO ARE LEFT BEHIND Having given her only boy to the defense o the United States, a widow of Ogden v.-ho has reared a family of H1 three children without a helping hand, Hji said she did not seek contributions In any form and only desired the kindly consideration which would give her such employment as she is capable of This is a reminder that Ogden owes Hj something more than kind words to the families left behind by the sol-Kj sol-Kj diers. We hope the organization of Hh mothers and relatives of the soldiers, H! which is now being formed, will bring Hjl to the attention of our public spirited citizens every case of a dependent j' family, in need of friendly considera-i'' considera-i'' tion by our people. K' Ogden must provide opportunities for those who have' sent boys to the H' trenches. The burden of the war must rest on all of us, the load being equal-Hl equal-Hl ized as much as possible. We must not forget the widow, the wife, the children or aged parents of the soldier boys. |
