Show BEE LINEUP IS SPLENDID ONE . SALT LAKE CITY, Jan 19 Notwithstanding Not-withstanding the war, the team which represents this city in the Pacific Coast league during the 1918 season starts off with a lineup which is unlikely un-likely to cause the new manager, Walter Wal-ter McCredie, much to worry over. The material which McCredie will have at his command when the training train-ing season opens includes a fairly good pitching staff to begin with. He will have Earl Sheely, Carl Crandall and Bill Orr of his old infield, and Jimmy Cox to fill In at third base. With the possible exception of Tom-ray Tom-ray Quinlan who may be called upon to do his share in making the world safe for democracy, the Salt Lake outfield out-field remains untouched. With two good catchers already in prospect, it is probable that McCredie will start the preliminary training season in as good, if not better shape, than anv of his rival managers in the league ! |
