"Tho conference is being held for the purpose of discussing evrey phase of road plans for the calendar year,' said Joseph P. Martin, district engineer engi-neer in announcing the meeting today. Representatives from the local offices, from Denver, San Francisco and other points will attend. The idea is to effect ef-fect a complete unity of purpose and the best method of accomplishing results re-sults is to discuss the problems in conference." Besides the local representatives tho following will be in attendance: T. W. Norcross, assistant chief engineer en-gineer of the forestry service, Washington, Wash-ington, D. C; J. H, Loder, assistant chief engineer of the office of public roads, Washington; J. A. Whittnker, district engineer of public roads, Denver. Den-ver. S. E. Morris, assistant district ongineer of the office of public roads, San Francisco, and others. |
