FIXED Bi ILL FEEDS Tho federal food administrator yesterday yes-terday fixed tho prico of mill feeds to the consumer at not more than S1.75 undelivered and allowed a charge of 10 cents per hundredweight to be made for delivery. This price is the maximum and it is expected that competition will bring about a reduction, reduc-tion, as the farmers aro permitted to sell a a lower figure if they desire. The prico is based on maximum schedules announced by the food administration ad-ministration some time ago, fixing the price of mixed bran in carload lots at the mill at $1.30 and shorts at 1.40. In sales of less than carload lots and ton lots, an additional chargo of 5 cents per hundred may be made. Millers and distributors are requested re-quested to send duplicate invoices to tho office of tho food administrator of all sales of mill foed amounting to more than one ton. nn |
