It follows: "The provost marshal general au thorizes the following' This department depart-ment thoroughly appreciates the magnitude mag-nitude and essential character of the work of draft officials and is keenly alive to tho iifiportanco of retaining the services of members of boards and government appeal agents, and. to this end, of granting deferred classification on the ground of necessary employment employ-ment in tho service of the United States to board members and government govern-ment appeal agents within the new draft age limits who are certified by governors as being necessary in the administration of the draft." |
