Show oo 7000 SKILLED MEN NEEDED FOR AIRPLANE REPAIRING IN FRANCE The United States department of labor, through the Fnited States public pub-lic scrvic reserve is seeking to pro-vide pro-vide the army 7000 skilled men to form two motor mechanics regiments for immediate service at the aviation ramps In France. The grades and pay of these men will be as follows (Including (In-cluding family allowances) 82 master signal electricians elec-tricians ... $87 to $129.70 522 sergeants, first class $53 to $ 96.10 1806 sergeants $44 to $ 85 30; 2iG4 corporals $36 to $ 75.70 2024 private. first class $33 to $ 72.10 506 privates S30to$ 68.50 The following is the classification according to trades. Motor vehicle chassis 260O Motor vehicle body 920 Carburetor repair men 120, Machine shop workers 1360; Tire repairers 120' Wheelwrights 200 Flerks 118 Motorcycle 24 j Laborers 504 rooks 208 1 Electric workers 200 Sheet metal workers 400 Instrument repair men 30 First class auto repair men will be valuable with very little training. Men enlisting for this service will be sent! to a camp in the country for a short preliminary preparation. Only men between 18 and 21 years of age. and between Si and 40 years inclusive. Will be accepted. Skilled mechanics cannot find a better way to serve the country in uniform.
