Republic Iron, General Motors, United States Steel and Wilson Wil-son Packing rose 1 to Hfc pointa. Tobaccos To-baccos again showed variable tendencies tenden-cies with shippings. Interest in rails 1 entered around minor coalers, notably Pittsburg and West Virginia issues. Liberty bonds were irregular. The market lost much of its breadth and activity after the first half hour. Dealings in rails were almost wholly limited to low grado coalers. Prices stiffened again at noon under lead of United States Steel and Reading.
