Wood in a street-car hold-up October-20 October-20 According to Conductor Wood's statement In a Standard inleriew, he was shot by McCullen, whom he in turn shot and killed. The youth's companion did not present a gun, but seemed to have a weapon of some kind in his hand, probably a club. The prisoner. Wood, is apparently-feeble-minded and of weak criminal type. He is expected to confess and help clear the mystery of the identi'y of the youth, who was killed So far, however, he has been sullen and silent. He has no money to employ a lawyer |
