H Spencer, supervisor of the poor, today received a letter from Mrs Wall of New Bedford, Mass., mother of an unfortunate woman whd was supplied with transportation fo herself and two children, reporting their safe arrival Christmas morning and expressing heartfelt gratitude t all who contributed to the woman's relief. re-lief. The mother and 5-year-old daughter arrived in sood condition, but the baby was seriously 111. The woma and three children carae here fronl Salt Lake and were assisted by Mrs. Spencer and oiher charitable persons. The children were 111 with measles nnd were cared for by the Martha 80-ciety. 80-ciety. One of them, a 7 -year-old boy, died' soon after their arrival here.
