Theft A sneak thief entered the office of-fice of Dr Thatcher, in the Eccles building, yesterday afternoon and stole therefrom a handbag belonging to Mrs. Burdett of 968 Twenty-eighth street, while the owner was in the dentist's operating chair. The purse contained about $12 in cash, a pair of kid gloves and a check book. The theft was reported re-ported to the police. Phoney Diamond Charles Sage, a transient, was taken into custody yes-lerda yes-lerda at Twentieth street and Washington Wash-ington avenue by Detective Robert Chambers, on a charge of mendicancy. He was booked at the city Jail, but was later turned over to the county authorities to undergo an examination for his sanity. According to the officers, offi-cers, he had a "phoney" diamond, which he declared was worth $600. DUNHAM. Ada Blanche Dunham, aged 16 jear6, a popular and beloved student of the Ogden High school, died at the family home, L'S:74 Grant avenue, this morning at i :0 o'clock. The young girl was taken ill with inflammatory rheumatism shortly be fore the holidays. She was born in Ogden, September 10, 1900, the daughter daugh-ter of John S. and Anna Borg Dunham.
