Show MASKED ROBBER 111 A GROCERY STORE 1 AT NIGHT Two women customers of Mrs. Kate an Dyke, who operates a grocery stAe at 850 Twenty-first street, were givn a bad scare last night. They entered en-tered the store about 9 o'clock and were confronted by a masked robber, who rose from behind a counter. The fellow brandished a large revolver and exeiaimed to the frightened women, "I do not want to hurt you, but I want you to get out and let me get away." His wish was granted, and. following follow-ing i.ie women out of the store, he vanished in the darkness. The incident inci-dent was reported to police headquarters headquar-ters and was investigated by Sergenat T II. Blackburn and Detective Captair Robert Burk. No trace of the robbei was found and the only thing that, ap peared to have been stolen was a bo: of candy. |
