Show ILUi VICE-CONSUL II1BLE 10 SAVE DRAFTED Ml Despite the fact that ho appealed to the Holland vice cqnsul to intercede and show that he was not an American citizen, Jacob H. Kap, who was registered regis-tered and drafted in Ogden, will have to accompany the boys to Camp Lewis on October 4, unless present plans of the city draft board are changed. Kap enlisted the 'sen-ice of Everet Neuteboom, vice consul of The Netherlands, Neth-erlands, and a letter was received by the board asking why Kap had not been exempted because of his non-residence non-residence status here. A passport for Kap is momentarily expected, the letter let-ter from Mr. Neuteboom stated, and it is though that the Hollander Intends leaving the country before being forced to war. |
