Show oo FRANK C. OXMAN IS FACING PERJURY SAN FRANCISCO. May 25. Frank C. Oxman, leading witness In the recent re-cent murder trial of Thomas J. Moon-ey, Moon-ey, faced a charge of attempted subornation sub-ornation of perjury here today in police po-lice court. Once before in the same court Oxman faced tho same charge, but the decision which held him to answer in the superior court was set aside yesterday by the supreme court on a point of legal procedure. Death sentence Imposed on Mooney for his alleged share in a bomb explosion which killed ten persons here last July awaits the outcome of an appeal to a higher court, and also action on a request re-quest made by the trial judge that tho attorney general of the state petition the supreme court for a new trial. The trial judge so acted after disclosures disclo-sures as to Oxman were mado. Oxman is accused of trving to get F. E. Rigall of Grayville. Ill, to testify against Mooney, although Rigall was not here when the bomb exploded, and knew nothing about it He came here in response to Oxman's admitted request, re-quest, but did not testify at the trial. |
