Show BASEBALL MEN REGISTERFOHWAR Members of Los Angeles and Portland Clubs File Registrations Registra-tions for Selective Draft. LOS' ANGELES, May 24 Players of the Los Angeles and Portland ball clubs today filed their registrations with the city clerk for tho selective draft. Two players from the Los Angeles An-geles team and three from the Portland Port-land club did not register, as they are exempt on account of tho age limit. Neither manager Chance and McCredie Mc-Credie registered, as both are too old. Rube Ellis was the other Angel who did not visit the city hall, as he is over the age limit. Shortstop Iloilocher and Catcher Gus Fischer were the Beavers who failed to register. Hollochor is not 21 yet, while Fischer is past 31. Should the players on both teams be taken in the first call both clubs practically would be wrecked. McCredie stated today that there were only three or i four players on his team who would ' miss the first call He says ho has more single men than any other cluu in the league. Of the Angels there are several men who will be taken when the conscrlp- ! tion starts. However, there are more married men on the team than single ones. Following are the players who registered: reg-istered: Angels Bassler, Glelchmann, Kenworthy, Ken-worthy, Groehling, Davis, Vaughn, Lapan, Boles, Maggert, Crandall, Brown, Ryan, Meusel, Killifer, Hall and Hogg.
