Show B. I C OPERA TO 8E PRESENTED IN 0GDE1 W. O. Robinson, director of the music mu-sic and dramatic art department of the Brigham Young College, Logan, was In Ogden today for the purpose of booking the B. Y. C. Opera company com-pany for a one-night engagement at the Orpheum Wednesday night. The company this year is presenting "The Yankee Consul " Speaking of the Ogden engagement. Prof. Robinson stated that his opera company this year is equal to any that has been developed at the B. Y. C. and that the Ogden people will be given a fine musical treat The leading lady this year is Miss Nayneen Farrell, new to the stage, but already an excellent ex-cellent actress and the possessor of one of the best voices in the state. The leading man is Norman Salisbury, an actor and singer of three years amateur experience on the stage. Including the orchestra, the company com-pany numbers seventy-five persons. |
