Show MUSICAL SOCIETY. The Sempre Musical Society met with the Misses Ida Anderson and Louise Pierre at the home of Miss Pierce, on March 17. Cleone Rich ocal selection Frances McCready Vocal selection Cora V. Read FOR MRS. P. A. BECK Members of tho Queen City Rebekah lodge surprised Mrs. P. A. Beck, cap tain of the degree staff, at her home 1S06 Twenty-fourth street, Thursday afternoon. The event was in honor of Mrs. Beck's birthday and the members of the lodge presented her with a beautiful cut glass dish. Mrs. Beck proved a charming hostess hos-tess for the occasion During the afternoon aft-ernoon Miss Olga Wchrend delighted the guests with two vocal selections. The ladies took possession of the house and served a dainty luncheon. The tables were attractively decorated decorat-ed with carnations and sweet peas. Those present were- Mesdame? Koons, Monohan.
