Show oo Society LUNCHEON Miss Marguerite Fisher entertained at a luncheon last evening at her home, 430 Twenty-sixth street. The affair was nicely arranged and a most pleasant evening was held. Covers were laid for the following guests: Mr. rind Mrs. L. Lamb, Mr. and Mrs Harold Har-old Chambers, Mr. and Mrs. Ola Moulding, Mould-ing, Miss Eva Anderson, Laurence Smyth. Bill Gormley. Mrs. J. E. O'Neill and Miss Myrtle O'Neill. WHITE ROSE CLUB The White Rose club and the L. A. to B. of R. T. will meet at the home of Mrs. Willard Jewel, 3064 Ogden avenue, ave-nue, Tuesday afternoon, April 3. MIZPAH CLUB Miss Gladys Budlong was the charming charm-ing hostess to the Mizpah club mem bers at her home on Twenty-seventh street last Thursday evening. Five tablt B of five hundred were played, after which a delightful luncheon was served. The following members enjoyed en-joyed her hospitality: Misses Erma Moore, Arleen Stev ns, Lucille Wil-i Wil-i i Ruth White Marjorie Browning. MASONIC CLUB DANCE The dance committee of the Masonic club announces that their last dance of the season will be given on next Tuesday evening, April 3. at the K of i ball on Gmnt avenue. All members of the Masonic fraternity are cordially invited MRS. PEERY HOME Mrs. D. H. Peery has returned from Chicago, where Bbe has been visiting with her sdn and family. Mrs. Peery I. -it ( 'den last November, taking With her her two grandchildren, who spent the last summer in Ogden. Mrs. Peery will be at home in the Peery apartments apart-ments in a few days. DINNER PARTY Mr.. Hyrum Lammers will entertain at a dinner party tonight in compliment compli-ment to Miss Laura Lehman and En in Ford whose wedding will occur next Monday at noon. Miss Lehman is one of ogd'en's most attractive young ladies la-dies and Mr. Ford Is the well known flutist of the Alhamhra orchestra This evening twelve friends of the young couple will be the guests of Mrs. Lammers. DANCE Easter Monday, April 12, in the Woodmen of the World hall on Washington Wash-ington avenue the local Knights of Columbus will give a grand ball for which invitations have been Issued to , large number of members and friends including the Salt Lake dele-e-Uions of the Knights. A special caj v.:ill bring the Salt Lake knights to the evenl which will undoubtedly be of the most entertaining affairs yet given by the Ogden council. Miss Lillian Thatcher's orchestra will furnish fur-nish a well arranged program of dance selections and refreshments will be served. DAUGHTERS OF PIONEERS Camp L. Daughters met at the home of Mrs. C al McKeown. rear 27. Washington Wash-ington avenue, last Thursday afternoon. after-noon. March 29. The afternoon was most pleasantly spent by all present. The opening number on the program scheduled was a talk on "The Star Spangled Banner" by Mrs. Bell Croft. This was followed by a vocal solo b Miss Myrtle Heywood and a sketch of the life of Susan Easter Russel b Mrs Bell Croft Mrs. Lily Jackson gave an interesting reading of the twelfth chapter of "From Kirtland to Salt Lake City." The meeting was closed by the service of refreshments by the hostess. The next meeting of this compan will be held at the home of Mrs Nancy Stevens, 3780 Madison avenue, on April 26. CHILD CULTURE CLUB Mrs. J. A Gill and Mrs. W. F. Turner Tur-ner were hostesses to the Child Culture Cul-ture club last Thursday afternoon, March 29. at the Berthana. Following the usual business meeting Dr. Titus of the Agricultural college of Logan addressed the ladies. This was one of the most interesting interest-ing talks ever given to the club and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Mrs. J. P. Dlnneen gave a delightful vocal selection, selec-tion, "My Song to You," and responded to an encore, and Clifford Kay gave one of his own compositions on the piano, "Reverie." Mr. Kay also played the Lizst "Rhapsody." Both numbers were enthusiastically received by those present. Later refreshments were served in the banquet hall, covers being laid for fifty members of tho club and several guests. LADIES' LITERARY SOCIETY Mrs. D. C. Eccles was hostess to the Ladies' Literary' society last Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon at her home on Twenty-fifth street The hours were most pleasantly spent, with Mrs. Leroy Eccles giving an entertaining account of her recent trip to Panama and through the canal. Mrs. Eccles presented some very interesting in-teresting pictures of various places and of tue canal. The Misses Cleone and Oertel Rich entertained those present with two violin and piano selections. se-lections. The afternoon was closed by the service of a delicious luncheon by the hostess, assisted by Mrs. W. IX Brown, Mrs. Eugene Carr and Mrs. R. E. Boyd. In addition to the club members, the following guests were present Mrs. T. H. Carr, Mrs. R. E Boyd, Mrs. W. D. Brown and Mrs. Eugene Carr. Mrs. Joseph E.
