Show 0. S. L OFFICIALS HOLD CONFERENCE Salt Lake, Aug. 3. F. H. Knickerbocker, Knicker-bocker, assistant to the vice president presi-dent and general manager of the Oregon Ore-gon Short Line, returned from Poca-tello Poca-tello yesterday, where he attended a family meeting of the officials of tho road held Tuesday afternoon at tho suggestion of Vice President and General Gen-eral Manager H. V. Piatt. In calling the meeting Mr. Piatt announced an-nounced that he believed It only fair to the other officials that they should know his views and policies with reference ref-erence to certain matters, and these were outlined and discussed at the meeting. After the meeting Mr. Piatt continued his Inspection of the northern north-ern lines of tho company. He expects ex-pects to return to Salt Lake In two or three days. Among tho officials who attended the meeting, besides Mr. Piatt and Mr. Knickerbocker, were Carl Strad-ley, Strad-ley, chief engineer; George H. Smith, general counsel; L. R. Wood, auditor; A. E Hutchinson, general purchasing agent; L. E. Abbott, general claim agent; W. A. Whitney, genoral superintendent; super-intendent; A. C. Hinckley, superintendent superin-tendent of motive power and machinery; machin-ery; G. H. Roblson, general storekeeper; store-keeper; R. H. Robinson, engineer maintenance of way; A. B. Stevenson, superintendent Idaho division, and R. A. Pierce, superintendent Utah-Montana division. |
