Show oo PROGRRESSILVES TO HAVE A TICKET. Progressives leaders are meeting In Indianapolis today to consider the advisability ad-visability of placing a national ticket In the field. This movement follows the action of the New York Progressives Progres-sives who met In Syracuse last week and refused to endorse the candidacy I of Chas. E. Hughes. The Progressives of Utah are once more lining up and before election day the third party promises to make it-r it-r self felt in nation and state. ; Many of the strong men of the Pro gressive party resent the action of Theodore Roosevelt and George W. Perkins, In attempting to cart them off to political stalls to be disposed of without voice. ' Balnbridge Colby, who is expected to lead the party, says: "The New York Progressives now take their place along with the Progressives Pro-gressives of Massachusetts, California, New Jersey, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ken-tucky, Missouri, and the lengthening list of other . states which have repudiated re-pudiated the national committee." |
