Show FEDERATED WOMEN'S CLUBS. "Provo was selected as the place of meeting for the Utah Fedoration of Women's Clubs, in a meeting of the executive board of the federation at the Ladles' Literary club houbo, in Salt Lake Thursday, and tho time was fixed for tho last week in October. A conference of the presidents of the federated clubs of the state followed fol-lowed tho meeting of the executno board, with about fifty clubs presidents presi-dents in attendance, including out-of-town presidents and heads of twenty-one twenty-one Salt Lake clubs. The meeting of the executive board was held in the morning and tho conference of presidents in the afternoon, opening at 2.30 o'clock. Tho executive board members weie guests of the Utah Manufacturers' association at luncheon lunch-eon "at the Jood Products show at 1 o'clock yesterday. Three news clubs were received into tho federation by the executive board. They are the Clic League of Ogden, Mrs. Philip Knisely, president; Althea club of Spring City, (Miss Ethel Rankin, Rank-in, president; Piogressive Delphians of Salt Lake, Mrs. B. J. Brans, president. presi-dent. An open discussion on "How" Can Wo Best Serve Our State as a Federation?" Federa-tion?" was led by the president of the fedeiation. Mrs. E. E. Corfman. A conference con-ference or depaitment chairmen, under un-der tho direction of Mrs. R. B Porter of Ogden, was hold after the close of the conference. A luncheon at the Commercial club at noon was the leading feature of tho conference Friday. The visiting presidents and executive board were guests of the clubs of the Salt Lake district, including Salt Lake, Bingham, Bing-ham, Garfield, Midvale, Park City and Tooele. Presidents of tho federated clubs of Salt Lake can make icserva-tions icserva-tions through Mrs A X. McKay or Mrs. E O. Leatherwood. Program Given. Mrs. W. F. Adams of Salt Lake was toastmistress, and the following toasts were given "Club Woman's Preparedness," Miss Winifred Jensen of Mount Pleasant. "Growing Up," Mrs. James Allen of Mapleton. "Outlook," Mrs. A. E. Gibson of StOITS. "Our Ideals," Miss Alice Cox of Logan. Lo-gan. "Aiming and Scoring," Mrs.-Elmer McBeth. Informal toast, Mrs. E. E. Corfman of Provo. Board In Attendance. The entire executive board was in attendance. The out-of-town members of the board are Mrs. E. E. Corfman, Proo, president, Mrs. R. B. Portor of Ogden, first vice president; Mrs. G W.
