Jan. 12 At a meeting meet-ing of the Farmers' Protective association asso-ciation of Bo.xelder county held in Honeyville this week thp accumulated accumula-ted business affairs of the association were disposed of. and the election of officers completed the program of the annual meeting of the farmers The association Is composed of farmers and water users under the East Side (Hammond) canal, the spcond largest water system in the country, extending extend-ing from Bear River canyon to a point west of this city, a distance of twentj-five twentj-five miles, and irrigating all the ter ritory' east of Bear river. The board of directors chosen for the ensuing year is as follows Edwin Ed-win Gilbert, Jr., Lorenzo Barker. Peter M Jensen, Daniel M. Reese, John M. Boothe, Seth Wheatley, Porter Por-ter Barnard. V. B. .Marble and Lewis Garmer. Officers are: Seth Wheat ley, president; Peter M Jensen, vice president; Porter Barnard, secretary and treasurer. |
