Show POULTRY JUDGE IS A VISITOR Irving S. Rice, the noted judge of poultry shows at Madison Square Garden, New York, stopped off in Ogdcn yesterday with his wife, en i-oute to tho Panama-Pacific exposition. exposi-tion. While here, he was a guest of Postmaster W. W. Browning, Assistant Assist-ant City Engineer Joseph Tracy and C. Handley of Wilson L.ane, and was taken to some of the chicken farms in the suburbs of the city. Following tho visit to the farms, Mr. Rich stated that the poultry ho saw equalled, if it did not surpass, ally that he has seen In the many shows at which he has officiated. The showing of Leghorns at Mr. Handley's farfn and that of Rhode Island Is-land Heds at A. G. Sneed's home, especially es-pecially pleased tho visitor, and he remarked that Ogden people should not send oast for broods as those in this locality were as fine as any in tho east |
