Show "TIE IDE" IN ' If Tl PICTURES Audrey. Munson, "Panama-Pacific "Panama-Pacific Girl," Plays Lead in "Inspiration." The rise to fame and fortune of Audrey Munson, famous artist's model and the inspiration for many works of art throughout this country and abroad, lias been woven wov-en into a Mutual Mastcrpicture in five acts entitled "Inspiration." Miss Munson, widely known as the "Panama-Pacific girl," because she posed for many of the pieces of statuary at the Panama-Pacific Exposition, notable among them "The Foundation of Eidorado," bj1- Mrs. ITarry Payne "Whitney, wife of the New York multi-millionaire, as well as for the statue called "Evangeline," by Daniel Chester French. "Inspiration," in which Miss Munson appears in the leading dole, was screened at the Than-houser Than-houser studios in New Eochelle, N. T. Not only does Miss Munson appear in this exceptionally appealing ap-pealing film production, but she personally supervised the preparation prepara-tion of the scenario, which depicts, as closely as possible her rise from obscurity to one of the most popu-ular popu-ular and, highly paid models known in art circles of this or any other country. The story, much of the locale of which is laid in New York, deals -with Miss Munson 's arrival in the metropolis, her inability to find work, during which she all but starved to death and finally an accident a fortunate one in this instance which resulted in her securing her first step on the ladder lad-der that later brought her international inter-national fame. Throughout the five reels is woven a heart stirring love story which finally results in her marriage mar-riage to the young genius of the studios who first "discovered" her. This big picture will be shown at the Orpheum two nights only tomorrow and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. A "William "Wil-liam Fox, production featuring William in "A Soldiers Oath" will be on the program. |
