I deem it only Tair to state 1 ' that the methods employed in the ' manufacturing of mattresses therein j described are Identically the same and L i equally as sanitary as those in use, I not only in all other mattress factor- , ies in the state but throughout the , "United States. I - A copy of the letter was presented I to Mr. Smith this morning by City 1 Sanitary Inspector George Shorten, t i and in speaking of it the factory owner own-er said: ' "Knowing conditions, will regard to ' t health and sanitation at my factory 5 to be equal or superior to those of j, any factory in this part of the coun- -' ' try, I felt that I had been unjustly " j singled out in the report on sanitary conditions in Ogden, given out for ) publication by the health authorities I following the close of the 1915 "Clean f City" contest I have therefore fol- i ' lowed up the matter and this letter Is- i . sued by the state board as the result.
