BY TDE RESERVOIR COMPANY Ogden River Reservoir Company Brings Suit Against the Bondsmen of the Contractor for Failure to Complete the Contract and for Clouding the Title of the Company by Filing a Pretended Lien When Every Estimate Esti-mate Has Been Paid in Full The Reservoir Reser-voir Company, in Effect, Charges an Attempt to Blackmail or to Extort Money. Today the Ogden Reservoir com pany filed a suit against the Amen can Construction company of Salt Lake City and its bondsmen, asking for dnmages In the sum of $100,000 for the company's failure to completr tho dnm as provided In the contract made with said company The Reser voir company asserts that it enntrnrt ed to have the dam finished by Junr 1. 1913; that the said Reservoir company has paid every estimate made hv the engineers for work done but, notwithstanding that, the Ameri can Construction company has re fused to finish the dam, and in order to prevent the said Reservoir company com-pany from continuing the dam, the said American Construction company placed a pretended lien on the prop j erty of the company to the amount! . of $30,000, pretending that said amount was due The Reservoir, company asserts that said lien was simply filed to exact money from th" Reservoir company which was not due. The Ogden River Reservoir t company, therefore demands damages . In the sum of $100,000 and the bonds i men of the company, YV. J. Burton, M W.
