Show oo PETER DEMENTRE IS FOUND NDT CUILTY At i little past 1 o'clock this morning, morn-ing, the jury in the murder case of Peter Dementre rendered a verdict of not guilty. Dementre was tried for the alleged murder of a fellow Greek, Nick Kargis, April 29, 1914, the trial occupying the time of the court and jury a little more than four davs to death of Kargis wsb in self de-Dcmentre de-Dcmentre claimed that the stabbing lense Dementre remained In the county jail until this morning when he was released He stated that he will go to Salt Lake where his brother resides re-sides end seek employment in the machine shops. The man said that he had a premonition last night that he was to be freed and he had his goods packed for removal before the jury reported. The prosecution was conducted by District Attorney Dais and T. D. Johnson and the defense by Henry Bailey. oo |
