Tbere has been a call for courses i. in these subjects Literature for the grades, contem porary drama. adanced economics, elementary economics. elementary Spanish, art, historv of education, psychology scitnce of education, ele-. roer.tar French, advanced French, ad-, .anr-cl archeology, political e'liies ,1 ethics of citizenship and pedagogy It Is likely that not more than half of these subjects will be finally de- elded upon It is, therefore, necesar for all those desiring to take exten-fop. exten-fop. work this winter to see Prof Reynolds f.-mnrrow as the time of the j recitation will likely be decided upon' for all of these courses. The extension work is given by the professors of the T'nhvrslty o: itah Bud it Is open to all who are qualified to take them whether thev be teachers, teach-ers, busings men, elub women or others. The regular university regis-1 tration fee of $10 Is charged whether; n person is taking one subject or more, and credit te given on the records rec-ords of the University of 1 tah A number of people have pursued these j subjects now for five ears here In Ogden and have acquired credit to ? wards graduation In otner words, th ! University of Utah is located In Og-den Og-den and It is possible for a person to get a college course and secure a college degree without going tn the j expense of attending the university In Salt Lake City. Last year some high J school graduates, who were unable to na the expense incurred by attend-1 ing a university away from Ocden, succeeded in laying up a year s credit without expense except the small registration reg-istration fee of $K. The courses given this year will depend de-pend very largely on the meeting tomorrow to-morrow morning at the Ogden High j school.
