Show RAIN INTERFERES WITH GRAND CIRCUIT RACES Columbus. O, Sept. 24 Over a slow track that was put entirely out of commission by a shower after be ing used for five heats, Columbus grand circuit races were attempted this afternoon. Ross B was favorite for the free for-all trot Joan, aftor three years' absence from racing, won the first heat. She stepped the second quarter quar-ter in 30 3-4 seconds, opening a lead that she managed to hold. Ross B took tho second heat away from ('.race a stable mate of Joan Baron A of the Cox stable proved the best of the five 3:06 paeers nnd won both heats, the last of which was decided with rain falling.
