Interesting results re-sults bave been obtained by a care ful analysis of the play of the leading college football teams of the east and the middle west this season. Cornell has p!3yed the greatest number of minutes since the season operated on September ".1 and used the greatest number of players The Ithaca record rec-ord shows that in eight games of 43f, minutes duration 205 points have been scored and 197 players used. Michigan is second, with 428 minutes min-utes of play for 220 points, but boih the arnn and Dartmouth outrank the Wohennes in players used In aggregate scoring the University of Virginia is well up among the leading lead-ing teams, having a total of 28'5 points for seven games, all of whit b have been won except the contest with Yale, when the southern eleven was defeated 21 to 0 on the first Saturday of October. Other teams which have crossed thfl double century mark are Dartmouth. 27S; Washington and Jefferson. 24 J; Syracuse, 202; Tufts, 204, Michigan. 220, Cornell. 205; North Carolina. 268, and Washington and Lee. 299.
