Show oo SCOTT JOURNALS ARE IN BRITISH MUSEUM The original journals of Sir Robert Scott during his South polar expedition expedi-tion have been placed in the British museum by Lady Scott. By order of the trustees they were placed on view today, the second anniversary oi Scott's arrival at the South pole. They are to remain on view for an Indefinite Indefin-ite period. The Journals are three small pencil written books which Scott carried with him to the pole and which were found on his body b the searching party in November, 1912. At the end of the last of these is the "message to the public.'' which made so deep and lasting an impres sion on the heart of the nation. oo |
