Show students Listen td an address on ambitions , i The students of the Ogden high I school received some valuable advice 1 at their assembly this morning from I Rev. Dr. Silcox rf Kansas City, Mo who. introduced to them by Rev Rass weiler, spoke for about a half hour His address was "Legitimate and proper ambitions in life" and he brought out his subject most forcibly by illustrations from personal experience exper-ience and trom the IKes of great men i : He referred In particular to literary I men and in quoting from some of the i standard poets, he gave the students a ran3 literary treat in addition to the j good advice which the quotations con-I tained. His address was listened to ! with close attention and was appreciated. appreci-ated. RR J Walter M. Campbell, former deputy : supervisor at Weiser, Idaho, has been appointed to the position of supervisor at Oakle. Idaho, to succeed supervisor supervis-or illiam McCoy, who died recently. |
