Elliott Marshall, mayor-elect, was to pitch the first ball in the gamo between the locals and Sioux City. A parade preceded the contest and a half holiday was proclaimed by Mayor Pfelffer. Opening ceremonies are to continue two days. This will Include a trades parade tomorrow afternoon and close tonight with a "physiognomy parade" in which members of social clubs and other local organizations will appear In fantastic costume.
