Show Society ENGAGEMENTS ANNOUNCED. At an elaborate and very prettll) appointed luncheon Saturday at the home of Mr and Mrs. E. O W'attls. 664 Twenty-eighth street, the an BOUncement of the engagement of two of their daughters was made to about sixtj guests. The first announcement wai that of Miss Ethel M Wattls to William Rice Kimball of Oak Park, Chicago, and the second was that f.f Miss Mattle C, Wattls to Ray T O'Donnell of Helena. Mont. The announcement come as a sur prise lo the guests who had been bid den to meet Mrs YVattis' daughter, Mrs Littlofield, now visiting with her parents The first announcement, which was made as the guests sat down to a beautifully decorated tattle, was in the Torm of the names of Mis3 Ethel Wattls and Mr. Kimball on cards in small envelopes The second sec-ond announcement came in a telegram tele-gram bearing the names of Mlas Mar tie Wattis and Mr. O'Donnell during luncheon. The table was decorated with pink roses and pink ribbons interlaced with smllax and hyacinth with pink tulle and ribbon The center decoration was a large basket of roses resting on n small carpet of smllax Around the educe of the table wer rones of 'smllax At each plate was a corsage bouquet of sweot peas and hyacinth A five-piece orchestra in a bower of roses, ferns smllax and potted plants discoursed sweet music during the afternoon. She carried a bouquet of pink roses with a shower of sweet peas Miss Mattie Wattls wore a gown of crepe de meteor, with rose and gold I lace and white chiffon bodice. She carried a spray of pink roses Mr. Kimball is the son of Mr. and Mrs S Herbert Kimball of Oak Park, Chicago. He Is the assistant manager of tbe pipe department of the Joseph T. Ryerson company of Chicago Mr O'Donnell is the son of Mr. and Mrs Terrence O'Donnell of Helena, Mont, but during the past few years he has made hi6 home in Ogden. FROM ELYRIA.
