Show ACCIDENTS albert hurt in the round house wood hurt at evans ton yesterday forenoon albert was dragged from a scaffold on which he was standing and hurled to the ground dislocating his shoulder and otherwise bruising him his left cheek is also cut and bruised is a painter and was painting a shaft in the U P round house by accident his sleeve was aught by a pulley and lie was jerked into proximity with the buee belt which dashed him to the floor of the round house he fell probably 14 or 15 feet an ambulance was sent for and he yas taken to the U P hospital where be received medical attendance in the afternoon special from evanston brought the wounded and bruised form of a boiler maker named wood who was badly injured at evanston wood was repairing a boiler when an exploded almost under him and he was severely wounded about the head when he arrived in this city his bead was bandaged and it was stated that he was also injured internally he was taken at once to the J P hospital where his wounds were dressed it was learned about midnight that wood had died during the evening when he first arrived it was thought he biad a chance of recovery but the wounds about bia head and his in injuries were too severe and he died about eight haars hoars after be reached the hospital heddi bells the home of mrs thomas williams on washington avenue was ablaze with light and radiant with joy wednesday evening about one hundred and guests joined handa and hearts in the festivities the occasion being the wedding of the popular and accomplished complis hed of the hostess miss magaie williams to david farr by a process of law miss williams yesterday became the life partner and wife of david farr of this the prospect of matrimonial felicity to the single state and thus the realization of happy freacas of sweet sentiments love is acain consummated in the realms of conjugal bliss the guests were now assembled to add their blessings and congratulations to the event and vish the young people god speed upon the journey through life the parlors were elegantly and profusely decked with vine and flower and the tables groaned with the burden of sumptuous things that added substance to the spirit of joy that pervaded the scene while presents numerous costly and appropriate added their benediction to the occasion the bride was daintily attired in a rich costume of white ornamented with a boquet of fragrant and sweet scented flowers while the groom wore the conventional vent ional suit of black the evening was spent in the most pleasant manner conceivable being interspersed persed with music song and recitation and punctuated with wit and re marteo closing with the heartiest of congratulations and wishes for future prosperity and E F |
