Show WIFE WILL STAND BY HUSBAND San Francisco, July 12. Mrs. Oliver Oli-ver Lillian Wheeler-Reid, formerly MI6S Packard of Ogden, wife of the editor of the "Western Weekly, in jail on two charges of felony embezzlement embezzle-ment and grand larcqny, reached San Francisco yesterday and talked with her husband in the city prison. The meeting of the young people was pathetic. After embracing her husband, Mrs. Reld declared she would stand by him through his trouble. trou-ble. 'I am convinced Leslie is Innocent and am sura he will have no difficulty diffi-culty proving It,' said MrB. Reid. "I don't care how long he Is In jail, I will be waiting for him when ho gets out. Nothing can come between us to destroy our happiness." Reld was arraigned on the new charge of grand larceny, which involves in-volves the theft of a $1,000 diamond ring, and pleaded not guilty. The caBe was put over until July 17. On this date also Reid will have to answer to the charge of felony embezzlement of another diamond ring valued at 250. "I have given up of hope of secur1-ing secur1-ing ball other than through Charles Reid,' said Reld yesterday. "Charles should reach this city today. to-day. He will immediately surrender himself and will, I am certain, put up ensh ball sufficient to release b.oth of us.
