Show FEDERATION OF WOMEN'S CLUBS HOLD CONVENTION San Francisco, June 22 The chief officers of tho Genoral Federation of Women's clubs, constituting tho vanguard van-guard of the delegations o the Eleventh Elev-enth biennial convention, which begins be-gins Its seaaions in this city next Tuesday, are arriving. Mrs. Philip N. Moore of St. Louis, president of the General Federation, accompanied by Mrs. L. L. Blankenherg of Philadelphia, Philadel-phia, one of; the vice presidents arrived ar-rived late last night, after having been entertained on their way hero at California cities. Mrs, Joslah Evans Cowles of Los Angeles, first vice president and Mrs. Frank N. Shiok of f Long Beach and Wyoming, who Is corresponding secretary also are here, Mrs Cowles is the chairman of tho biennial committee, and Jn con-Junction con-Junction with, Mrs. Blankenberg and Mrs. A P Black of San Francisco will pass upon all local arrangements for the convention. |
