Show GIRL SENT TO ORPHANAGE INjHON Pearl Conklin, better known as Pearl Richards, a Juvenile who has given the police considerable troublo of lato and who has been confined in tho juvenilo ward at the police station sta-tion for nearly a week, waB released today by Judgo V. C. Gnnnell in response re-sponse to a request by tho girl's mother who sta.tod that she would send Pearl to St Ann's orphanage in Salt Lako for a period of at lenst ono year, rather than have hor committed to the State Industrial school. Pearl was picked up on the streets a,t an early hour several days ago and charged with incorrigibility. Her sister sis-ter made a strenuous plea to tho police po-lice not to send her to the reform school, with the result that action was deferred and a girl friend of Pearl was allowed to sleep with hor at the jail for company. Today Charles Wing of Callento appeared ap-peared bofore the juvenilo court and presented a petition from the girl's mother, asking that she DC given Into the custody of Mr. Wing who would conduct hor to tho orphanage In Salt lake.
