Show SUDDEN DEATH OF LAFAYETTE FARLEY Lafayctto Farley, aged 49, ono of tho oldest and most popular barbers In, this city, died suddonlv at 9:20 o'clock last ovenlng, while seated at a tablo In tho barber shop of Adam J Farbor, 350 Twenty-fourth street, where ho was employed. Death was due to heart failure. Mr. Fnrlej remained at the shop last evening" wullo some papering was being done by Jack Baxter and ho had probably been dead for several minutes without Baxter being awaro of his condition. Baxter states that he was busy papering the celling whilo Mr. Farley Far-ley 3teppcd out of the shop for a few minutes and then returned, seating seat-ing himself at a table and resting his head on his hnnds. Georgo Dakos, a Greek bootblack employed at the shop, camo In presently and noticing notic-ing tho unnatural uttltude In which Mr. Farley oat, sought to rouse him As ho shook the latter by the shoulder should-er the body suddenly fell" forward and Dakos realised that ho was doad. Baxter hastily sent him for physicians physi-cians but Hfo was found to ho extinct ex-tinct when they arrived. Members of Mr. Farley's family Btato that ho was in ordinary health and spirits yesterday and wont to his work as usual. Ho Is survived by his wife and five children, Lorlne, Cyrcal, Maude, Fay and Arthur Tho funeral will be hold at 3 p. m.. Monday In tho Fifth ward meoting house Bishop Bish-op H. C. Jacobs will conduct the services and the Woodmen of tho World and their band, with degree toam In full uniform, tbo Barbers' union and tho Modern Woodmen of America will attend In a body The body may be seen at the home, 85C Twenty-alxtih street, Sunday afternoon after-noon and evening and Monday until 1 o'clock. Mr. Farley was tho eon of Wln-throp Wln-throp and Lvdla Farley. Ho was born in Ogden, November 26. 1803. He was married twenty-three vears ago to Miss Mary Greonwell of this city. lie has alwavs been regarded a an Industrious nnd capablo workman by tho members of his -craft and his homo Hfo was a happy ono.
