Show GREAT STRUGGLE COMING IN CHINA Washington. Sept. 13. In the opinion opin-ion of students of Oriental affairs, China Is rapidly approaching a groat crisis in her history. Tho uprising in Sze Chuen province Is expected to extend to other neighboring provinces and especially to the southward, where tho Mongolian element has for many years been opposed to the roigiv ing Manchu dynasty. Evident iv prepared pre-pared for trouble, the government hns been quick to dispatch troops lo tho disaffected district and deal with tho situation with a strong hand It is believed here that the government vIll be able to suppress the present disturbance, though the unforseon disastrous dis-astrous flooding of the Yangste valiov is cxi-ected to derive thousands of tho unfortunate natives, whoao means of support have been destroyed, Into the ranks of tho revolutionists. But it is bolleved (hat tho S.o Chuen uprising is only the precursor of other outbreaks in different parts oT the Flowery Klngdjom, for the faet is that the struggle now going on Is reajly a gigantic teat of the .relatlvp slr&rigth and power At the central government, gov-ernment, as opposed to the provincial goernmonts: in other words, tho situation sit-uation resombles xho great feudal wars In Europe 1 the early ages.
