Show SMALL BOYS THOUGHT TO BE GUILTY Nineteen magazines wero Btolen from the book store of W. A Taylor on Grant avenue, between Twenty-fourth Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth stroots, last night and an attempt was made to enter tho place from tho rear window. win-dow. Mr. Taylor states that when he left his place of business last evening even-ing he neglected to remove his stock of magazines from tho front of the building to the Inside. This morning morn-ing ho found that every magazine had boon Btrlpped fro mthe show rack, and ho also discovered that an attempt had been made to gain entrance en-trance to tho storo through the roar window. The window sash was partlnlly broken nnd ono of tho panes of glass partly romoved. It appears that whllo the would-be burglars woro In the act of opening tho window, they became frightened and ran away. Tho general opinion among tho po-llcomon po-llcomon and detectlvos Is that It was tho work of small boys. |
