Show Miners Rescued. Sutter Creek, Cal., Feb. S The C2 miners entombed in the Bunker Hill mino at 1 o'clock yesterday byi cave-in cave-in in the mouth" of the shaft, wero rescued at 12 o'clock today aftor a night of desperate work by miners from nearby mines Nono of the men was injured. They were groeted by thoir wives and daughters as they came out of the shaft with their candles can-dles still burning. A tinv opening revealing a glimpse of light'at tho 200-foot level down the shaft caught the eyes of the rescuers. A shout was answered by a cry from the men in tho shaft and a few moments mo-ments later tho rock Jam was cleared sufficiently to allow tho passage of a man's body When the word spread that an opening had been effected the men at work in the tunnel shaft ran to the main incline and a cheer from 200 persons greeted the first begrimed miner as, candle in hand, he wriggled through the opening In the Jaggod rock. One by one the G2 passed through and "each found his family waiting- to welcome him. A dinner had been prepared at the mino dining hall and. after hot restoratives re-storatives had been administered, tho men were feted with "lobscouse and hot coffee while the crowd outside still cheered. . ., When the last man was out. tho mouth of the shaft was clearod and orders were given forbidding any em-ploye em-ploye to enter until the work of re-timbcrlng re-timbcrlng was begun.
